About Ruan Steenberg
Ruan Steenberg is a landscape and seascape oil painter based in Knysna on the Garden Route. His luminous oils capture the shifting moods of the coastline, lagoon, and indigenous forests of the Western and Eastern Cape.
Artistic Statement
The sea gives and takes. I try to hold a moment of that exchange on canvas.
